HOLI IN VRINDAVAN - THE FIRST HOUR

VRINDAVAN, INDIA 2014

Holi. One of the most holy and crazy religious festivals on the Hindu calendar.

Since many years I was waiting to go to the main temple of this auspicious event.

This year I could witness the once-in-a-lifetime experience by being right in the middle of it.

My camera did not like it as much as I did. I had to wrap "her" in plastic bags and

 tape it where-ever possible. Still lots of colourful powder found its way inside.

Changing the settings was harder than ever and sometimes proved just impossible.

After one hour I was already looking all like a chameleon changing colour with

 every new splash of red, pink, orange, yellow, blue or green coming down on me. 

This pictures are just showing the start. Right after I entered the temple.
